Softball Recap: Stuarts Draft Comes Up Short

Stuarts Draft fell victim to Wilson Memorial and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Green Hornets. The Cougars have struggled against the Green Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Stuarts Draft now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Wilson Memorial, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.

Coming up, Stuarts Draft will host Nelson County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Governors at the right time seeing as the Governors are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Wilson Memorial, they will face off against Fort Defiance at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Indians will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Green Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
