King's Christian heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Saturday. They fell 5-1 to Atlantic Christian. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Gloucester County Christian's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Atlantic Christian on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for the Conquerors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Gloucester County Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Dellarova, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Dellarova has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.

Gloucester County Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for King's Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-7.

King's Christian beat Gloucester County Christian 11-7 in their previous meeting back in April. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Conquerors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
