Berkeley gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They secured a 14-10 W over the Dublin Gaels.
Berkeley wouldn't let Dublin keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Jin Jones was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance. His also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up four sacks, forcing two fumbles, and making seven total tackles.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berkeley will face off against De Anza at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dublin, they will head out to take on Ukiah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
