Volleyball Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nashville Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Purple Raiders of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Bloomington's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Nashville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Bloomington will venture away from home to take on Glenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Purple Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nashville, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Edwardsville on the 6th.
