It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wimberley can now relate to. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Randall Raiders who were credited with the victory on Thursday. The Randall Raiders got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Wimberley Texans' six. Wimberley's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Lillian Sandoval wasn't going to let Randall walk away unscathed as she scored both of Wimberley's goals, bringing her season total up to 46 goals.

Wimberley's defeat dropped their record down to 24-2-2. As for Randall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Wimberley nor Randall have any future games scheduled.
