Basketball Game Preview: Forest Park Rangers vs. Southridge Raiders

Forest Park is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Southridge is on a six-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Forest Park Rangers will welcome the Southridge Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Saturday, Forest Park didn't have too much trouble with Tecumseh as they won 64-48. Given the Rangers' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Braves are ranked 305th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Southridge posted their biggest victory since December 14, 2024 on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 74-41 win over Evansville Christian.

Southridge's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Forest Park, they have also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
