Baseball Recap: Grace Academy Takes a Loss

Grace Academy came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 19-3 to the New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool. The defeat continues a trend for Grace Academy in their meetings with New Braunfels Thunder: they've now lost four in a row.

Grace Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ajax McLendon, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double. Owen Carpenter was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Grace Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for New Braunfels Thunder, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-9-1.

As of now, neither Grace Academy nor New Braunfels Thunder have any future games scheduled.
