Baseball Recap: Notre Dame (SO) Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Notre Dame (SO) pushed their score to 24 the last time they played Chaminade, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. Notre Dame (SO) skirted past Chaminade 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Notre Dame (SO) got a great performance from Beckett Berg as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Berg a new career-low in hits (four).

On the hitting side, Notre Dame (SO)'s win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jake Norolan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Phelan Bucknor was another, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Notre Dame (SO)'s record is now 5-7. As for Chaminade, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
