Rayne had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt St. Scholastica on Saturday. The Rayne Wolves never let the St. Scholastica Doves get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Wolves not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4, 2024.

Rayne's victory bumped their record up to 2-8-1. As for St. Scholastica, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Rayne didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-4 win against St. Louis Catholic on the 8th. As for St. Scholastica, they have also already played their next matchup, a 21-1 victory against St. Martinville on the 8th.
