League recap: Pallotti's league-best three wins lead to standings climb

MIAA B - Black league recap: 3/27/13

Pallotti outpaced the rest of the league this week, as its three total wins led the league. The Panthers beat Maryland School for the Deaf 12-11 and St. Mary's 5-1.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel made the biggest jump in the standings this week, moving from fourth to first place in MIAA B - Black thanks to a 3-0 record over the past seven days. Meanwhile, the Saints fell hardest in the standings, dropping from first all the way to fourth place after going 2-1 in the past week.

Annapolis Area Christian's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 17 hits and 11 walks to lead the league in both categories.

Kasey Gast struck out 13 in the Eagles' 10-0 win over Friends on March 20. He gave up two hits and zero runs over six innings of work.
