Softball Recap: Diamond's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Diamond blew Miller out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Miller got their revenge. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 10-8. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly two runs.

Diamond saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenzie Crook, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another was Paige Marbough, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Diamond's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3. As for Miller, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Diamond will head out on the road to take on Skyline at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Miller, they will face off against Ash Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
