On Tuesday, Lone Peak faced Lehi in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lone Peak Knights snuck past the Lehi Pioneers with a 70-65 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Knights who have now won five matches in a row.

Lehi lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Easton Hawkins, who posted 21 points and six rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Saxon Young, who earned 13 points along with seven assists and five boards.

Lone Peak's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Lehi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Looking ahead, Lone Peak will head out on the road to face off against Westlake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lehi, they will welcome Pleasant Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
