It was a good run, but Auburn unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount Si Wildcats. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mount Si to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brady Hennig, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Hennig a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Chase Mentink, who posted 12 points.

Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 23-3. As for Mount Si, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Auburn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-45 victory against Olympia on the 5th. As for Mount Si, they have also already played their next match, a 55-47 loss against Puyallup on the 6th.
