Basketball Recap: DeMotte Christian Knights vs. Wheeler Bearcats
DeMotte Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wheeler Bearcats. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly three points.

DeMotte Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Tony Bos, who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. Those 12 rebounds gave Bos a new career-high. Tanyon Bakker was another key player, putting up 14 points.
