Campolindo had won six straight home games and Ren Marchetti did his part to make it seven on Thursday. The Campolindo Cougars walked away with a 74-64 victory over the College Park Falcons thanks in part to Marchetti, who went 6 for 12 to rack up 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played.

Phin Kofman was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to five assists and five steals. What's more, he also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2024.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Miles Cooper, who posted 26 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Steven Barnett, who scored 16 points and six boards.

Campolindo has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for College Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9.

Campolindo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-40 win against Berkeley on the 8th. As for College Park, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Acalanes at 7:30 p.m. Acalanes will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something College Park surely won't give up without a fight.
