Volleyball Recap: Make It 17 in a Row for Archbishop Mcnicholas

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Archbishop McNicholas had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the La Salle Lancers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

When it comes to explaining why La Salle lost, don't look at Lance Wiesman. Despite the final result, he had 11 digs and one assist.

The win (which was Archbishop McNicholas' 17th in a row) raised their record to 21-1. As for La Salle, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-18 record.

Looking ahead, Archbishop McNicholas will take on Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight. La Salle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
