It was a good run, but Oakmont unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Durham Trojans.

Aiyana Zaragoza paced Oakmont's offense, picking up four kills. Zaragoza got some help from Elisabel Lumley Garcia and her eight assists. Isabella Peters and Alli Harvey kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Oakmont's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Durham, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

Oakmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Salesian College Preparatory on the 20th. As for Durham, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Gridley on the 20th.
