Huntington had lost 17 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 4-21 to make it 18. They lost 19-1 to the Hurricane Redskins. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-0 loss back in April.

Huntington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Layla Crickard, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

As for Hurricane, their record now sits at 21-4. The result was nothing new for the Redskins, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

On Hurricane's side, Sophie Dunlap made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Dunlap has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
