Softball Recap: Pardeeville Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Pardeeville dropped their record down to 7-7 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Princeton/Green Lake Tigers. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

As for Princeton/Green Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games.

For Princeton/Green Lake's part, Kendra Richter was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave Richter a new career-high. Jadyn Waters was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pardeeville will square off against rival Cambria-Friesland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Princeton/Green Lake is set to take on their familiar foe Randolph at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
