Volleyball Recap: Bunker Hill Comes Up Short

Bunker Hill lost against Granite City back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Minutemen took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

While Bunker Hill was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23.

Bunker Hill now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Granite City, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Bunker Hill is taking a road trip to square off against Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Granite City, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Father McGivney Catholic at 4:30 p.m.
