Haven is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Hillsboro on Thursday, but Hillsboro came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Wildcats came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Trojans. The five-run effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Haven's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Hillsboro, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haven will challenge Pratt on Tuesday. As for Hillsboro, they will take on Moundridge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
