Basketball Recap: Bartlett Takes a Loss

Bartlett suffered their closest loss since February 2nd on Friday. They fell just short of the May Tigers by a score of 43-41. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1055th, while the Tigers are ranked 459th).

This is the second loss in a row for Bartlett and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for May, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Bartlett will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rosebud-Lott at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for May, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against De Leon at 6:40 p.m. on Saturday.
