Basketball Recap: Rivercrest Comes Up Short on the Road Against Mount Vernon + How To Watch

Rivercrest kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 52-45 to the Mount Vernon Tigers. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

The victory got Mount Vernon back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Rivercrest will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Prairiland at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Mount Vernon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-42 defeat against Maud on the 25th.
