Basketball Recap: Stoneman Douglas Comes Up Short

After flying high against Stranahan on Tuesday, Stoneman Douglas came back down to earth. The Eagles had to suffer through a 68-34 loss at the hands of the Nova Titans. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Nova found their leader in sophomore Ke'Mora Evans, who posted 22 points in addition to five boards and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Evans has scored all season. Ya'Niyah Young was another key player, putting up 14 points and five steals.

Stoneman Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Nova, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-4.

As of now, neither Stoneman Douglas nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
