Lynn's loss ends four-game winning streak at home

It was a good run, but the Lynn Bears unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They received a tough blow as they fell 60-41 to Marion County. Lynn has struggled against Marion County recently, as their game on Saturday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Marion County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tye Madison led the charge by scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Madison has scored at least 25% of Marion County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Aldridge, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.

Lynn's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Marion County, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynn and Hubbertville will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Marion County is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Hamilton is ranked 97th, while Marion County is ranked 122nd).
