If Harlingen was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of St. Joseph Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals fell just short of the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Cardinals' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Harlingen's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harlingen will take on Weslaco at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, they will square off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
