Basketball Recap: Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Comes Up Short

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 27-25 heartbreaker at the hands of the DMLK Panthers.

Leading DMLK to victory were Dez DIAZ and Tay Hugley. DIAZ posted 12 points, while Hugley put up nine points.

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for DMLK, their record is now 5-9.

Looking ahead, Rocky Mountain Prep SMART will challenge KIPP Denver Collegiate at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for DMLK, they will square off against Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
