Basketball Recap: Ash Fork Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Ash Fork had won six straight home games and Isabella Acosta did her part to make it seven on Monday. The Spartans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Red Rock Scorpions 61-7 thanks in part to Acosta, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine steals. Her big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Eva Flores, who posted six points and three steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

Ash Fork's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Red Rock, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Ash Fork didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 77-16 victory against Empire on the 29th. As for Red Rock, they have also already played their next contest, a 46-11 loss against Camp Verde on the 30th.
