Volleyball Recap: Argyle Makes It Six in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Argyle, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Barneveld Eagles on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-1 victory on September 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-10, 25-17.

Argyle found their leader in sophomore Brynn Harris, who had ten digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Harris.

Argyle's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1. As for Barneveld, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-7.

Argyle and Barneveld should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Orioles will take on Monticello at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (75 vs. 379). Meanwhile, Barneveld (ranked 152nd) will meet Juda (ranked 436th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
