Basketball Recap: Dawson Comes Up Short

Dawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 56-31 to the Borden County Coyotes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-26 back in January.

Dawson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Borden County, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dawson will take on rival Grady at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Borden County is set to challenge their familiar foe Sands at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
