Recap: Raymond Central Mustangs vs. Conestoga Cougars
The Raymond Central Mustangs won the last time they faced the Conestoga Cougars, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Raymond Central blew past the Cougars, posting a 63-14 victory at home. Given Raymond Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Cougars are ranked 260th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Conestoga struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Raymond Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Conestoga, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Raymond Central will head out on the road to challenge the Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conestoga, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
