Basketball Game Preview: Victory Christian Academy Chargers vs. Crosspoint Christian

Having just played yesterday, the Victory Christian Academy Chargers will head out on the road to face off against Crosspoint Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Victory Christian Academy is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They fell 33-25 to Liberty Christian Academy.

Meanwhile, Crosspoint Christian played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Westwood Baptist Academy and fell 43-13. Crosspoint Christian hasn't had much luck with Westwood Baptist Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite the loss, Crosspoint Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ivana Smith had two points in addition to five boards and four steals. Smith is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played.

Victory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Crosspoint Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
