Baseball Recap: Hermitage Comes Up Short

Hermitage lost against Freeman back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 15-1 to the Mavericks. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hermitage saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Hernandez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Hernandez has hit this season.

Hermitage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Freeman, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5.

Coming up, Hermitage will face off against Godwin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Freeman, they will challenge Highland Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
