New Mexico Activities Association to crown champions in seven classes.

The New Mexico Activities Association football playoffs are underway.

The championship games for Classes 6A, 5A, 4A and 3A are scheduled for Nov. 30 while the Class 2A state football title will be determined on Nov. 23. State finalists in 8-Man and 6-Man will battle for their state championship hardware on Nov. 16 and Nov. 9, respectively.

State championship host sites for each classification will be awarded to the higher seeded finalist or past history.

Champions in 2018 include La Cueva (6A), Roswell (5A), Taos (4A), Dexter (3A), Eunice (2A), Tatum (8-Man) and Animas (6-Man). Eunice and Animas will be attempting to claim their third straight state football titles.
