Basketball Recap: Lockport Takes a Loss

Lockport was the 59-56 winner over Kenmore West when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Lockport Lions fell to the Kenmore West Blue Devils 71-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (58), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Lockport has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Kenmore West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Lockport is taking a road trip to square off against Orchard Park at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Orchard Park's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Kenmore West has already played their next game (against Frontier), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
