Harvard-Westlake posted their closest victory since February 21st on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Trailblazers last Tuesday, they had to take a 8-7 defeat.

Harvard-Westlake is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. Sierra Canyon's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.
