Soccer Game Preview: Hereford vs. Canyon + How To Watch

Hereford hasn't had much luck against Canyon recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Whitefaces will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Hereford has given up an average of 2.8 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hereford's offense. They lost 5-0 to Dumas on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Hereford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 796th, while Dumas are ranked 361st).

Meanwhile, Canyon didn't have quite enough to beat Pampa on Tuesday and fell 2-1. Canyon haven't had much luck with Pampa recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hereford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6-3.

Hereford suffered a grim 6-2 defeat to Canyon in their previous meeting back in January. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Whitefaces were down 4-0.
