Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Victory Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Poolville Monarchs.

While Victory Christian Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22.

Addison Morales paced Victory Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Morales were helped by Natalee Caraway and Milana Gale, who contributed seven assists each. Anderli Stanford controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Victory Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4-2 record this season. As for Poolville, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
