Whitehouse's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-29 victory over the Marshall Mavericks. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Whitehouse's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 7-13. As for Marshall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Whitehouse has already played their next game, a 46-35 defeat against Jacksonville on the 10th. As for Marshall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-39 win against Nacogdoches on the 11th.
