Basketball Recap: Palmer's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palmer). They strolled past the Homer Mariners with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 78-60. While the Moose didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Homer, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Palmer and Soldotna will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
