Basketball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Douglas

On Friday, Buffalo faced Douglas in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Buffalo Bison lost 73-51 to the Douglas Bearcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bison have suffered since February 13, 2024.

Defeat or not, Buffalo got some senior leadership from Brady Engling and Zayne Huber. Engling went 7 for 17 on his way to 17 points, while Huber posted 15 points. With that strong performance, Engling is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Konnor Rodriguez, who scored six points.
