Volleyball Recap: Ben Lomond Comes Up Short

Ben Lomond lost against Morgan on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Scots lost 3-0 to the Trojans. The Scots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-14.

Kalae Winter paced Ben Lomond's offense, picking up six kills. Winter got some help from Freddy Martin and his 15 assists. Finally, Winter was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Ryker Field went supernova For Morgan., getting 17 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Field has posted since back in March.

Ben Lomond's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Morgan, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Ben Lomond didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Roy on the 26th. As for Morgan, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Bountiful on the 25th.
