Volleyball Recap: Lewis Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Lewis Central had won two straight games and Jacey Young did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Titans came out on top against the Lincoln Lynx by a score of 2-0 thanks in part to Young, who had 17 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Lewis Central's win bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-25 record this season.

Lewis Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Missouri Valley on the 18th. As for Lincoln, they will face off against Sioux City West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
