Volleyball Recap: Union Grove Wolverines vs. Blessed Trinity Titans        
        
		
             It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Union Grove can now relate to. They fell  3-1 to the Blessed Trinity Titans on Tuesday. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 23-25, 25-21,  25-18.
 Union Grove's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Sadie Peterson, who  had nine  digs, and  Riley Bethea, who  had ten  kills, five  aces,  and four  digs. Bethea is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had five or more in the last 12 games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Even though they lost, Union Grove  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in nine consecutive  matches.
 Leading Blessed Trinity to victory were  Ruby Mcdermott and  Allie Deweese.  Mcdermott  had 21  digs, while  Deweese  had five  digs and 14  assists.
 Union Grove's loss  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 30-9. As for Blessed Trinity, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 14 of their last 15 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 29-10 record  this season.
 Union Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blessed Trinity, they will challenge Cartersville at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the  matchup red-hot, with Blessed Trinity sitting on  13 straight  wins and Cartersville on seven.
