Volleyball Recap: Northwest Mounties vs. Marshall Redhawks
Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Marshall Redhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 8th.
Avery Redmond paced Northwest's offense, picking up five kills. Redmond got some help from Emersyn Carroll and her eight assists.
Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22-4. As for Marshall, their win bumped their record up to 28-9-3.
Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Western on the 25th. As for Marshall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 tie against Coldwater on the 25th.
