Lawrence scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 82-75 to the Oceanside Mariners. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 73-62 to them when the teams met back in December of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oceanside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zac Woodman, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Conner Kingsbury, who posted 18 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Lawrence and nudges their season record down to 1-11. As for Oceanside, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Lawrence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-57 loss against Camden Hills on the 22nd. Oceanside has also already played their next game, a 68-49 victory against Morse on the 24th.
