Softball Game Preview: Pinkerton Astros vs. Windham Jaguars

The Pinkerton Astros will challenge the Windham Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Pinkerton 2.1, Windham 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Windham will be up against a hot Pinkerton team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Astros were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over Alvirne on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Astros, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Windham faced Londonderry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Jaguars fell 7-2 to the Lancers. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Pinkerton's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Windham, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-3.
