Softball Recap: Webster Groves Comes Up Short

Webster Groves fell victim to Harrisburg and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 14-0 to the Bulldogs. This is the first time the Statesmen have not plated a run since all the way back on September 9th.

Webster Groves has now lost six of their last seven games at home. That's done some real damage to their 13-23 record this season. As for Harrisburg, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 35-6.

Coincidentally, Webster Groves and Harrisburg will both be playing Southern Boone the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Statesmen will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
