Soccer Recap: Santa Maria Takes a Loss

The matchup between Santa Maria and Righetti on Friday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Santa Maria Saints fell 5-3 to the Righetti Warriors. Geovani Cabrera probably wasn't too happy after the contest: he scored every single goal for the Saints and still walked away on the losing team.

Santa Maria is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5-2. As for Righetti, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-1-4 record this season.

Santa Maria will venture away from home to face off against San Luis Obispo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Righetti, they will take on Paso Robles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
