If Hamilton-Wenham Regional was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lowell Catholic on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Generals came up short against the Newburyport Clippers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Generals have struggled against the Clippers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

While Hamilton-Wenham Regional was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 25-8.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Newburyport, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.
